What You Can Expect From Me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step - especially if you're someone who's used to keeping things to yourself. Maybe you’ve been told to “just get on with it” or feel like asking for help is a sign of weakness. I get it - because I’ve been there myself.

Before I became a counsellor, I served in the military. I know what it means to carry the weight of things you can’t always explain - stress, trauma, anger, guilt. I also know how life can look fine on the outside, while inside things feel anything but.

I offer counselling that’s grounded in real-world experience. No jargon. No judgment. Just honest, down-to-earth support in a calm and confidential space. Whether you're dealing with low mood, anxiety, addiction, or just feeling lost - this is a place where you can talk freely, and start to feel more like yourself again.

I work with men and young people across Chester and beyond, both in person and online. If you're ready to take that first step, I’ll walk alongside you every step after.

Chatting Over Coffee
“I was stuck in a cycle of feeling anxious and angry all the time, but I didn’t think talking would help. Tom made it easy to open up - it never felt forced or awkward. Over time, I’ve learned how to deal with things differently and feel more in control.”
